Hey there!!!
If you guys have any Blackberry device running Blackberry OS 10 then you can install most of the android applications on your Blackberry device.
Last year (2018) during GITEX Gadgets Expo in Dubai I took brand new (refurbished) Blackberry Q10 just for 40$ (150 AED). It’s very classy mobile with physical qwerty keypad and touch. It has most of the features which are currently in trend today. This mobile was launched on 2013 with a price tag of 600$. Other than the handset other box contents were super. Overall phone build quality was a top notch. However, it was a just basic phone for calling and texting as there were no apps supporting. There is BBM which we used in ancient times.
I was wondering if I could install Whatsapp at least for my secondary phone number. Then I found a solution for this. The solution was converting Android apps(.apk) to Blackberry apps(.bar).
Converting Android app to BlackBerry app (APK —>>>BAR).

- Download apk file for the app which you want to install in your Blackberry device.
For this, you can try multiple options. You can also visit APK Pure website.
https://apkpure.com/whatsapp-messenger/com.whatsapp - After downloading, upload this file in cloud or FTP servers. Make sure extension of file is .apk. I preferred uploading in FTP server.
- If your device is not updated then update it to latest available OS.
- You will find Amazon app store in your device.
- Download APK Installer from the app store.
- Copy the file link (apk file) in the downloaded app and clicnk on download and install button on your app.
- It will install your desired app.
- Enjoy.
